NARRATIVE
Movie is one of the arts which tell complete stories, using concise narratives and immediate character traits. As time goes on, movie making significance as a kind of art is progressively fading. But nowadays, the important of the art of movie making integrity has been compromised by commercial pressures. This causes the art of movie making have nearly forgotten by the society. So, a short video is to find back the intention of movie making.
THEME
The background story after the events of “The Great Silence”, - the life that lost of the enjoyment of art – What incident happened to make the participant join as a part to revive the art.
ELIGIBILITY

Open to all students currently enrolled in an architectural programmed at any participating institution.

Limited to one entry per institution

Joint production with other institutions is prohibited.
PRIZE
RULES AND REGULATION

Video duration: Each participating team are required to submit an introduction video with approximation 3-5 minutes length to present the inception of their own team (the starting point, the spirit)

Originality: Every entry must have been originally created specifically for the INCEPTION short video competition and cannot have been published elsewhere.

Content:

The video cannot have any components (such opening credits, the institution logo, etc.) that could purposefully and obviously identify the participant or the original school. Scenery, actors, and backdrops are acceptable.

No section of the video may include any content that is forbidden, objectionable, or offensive (political, language and nudity, sexual, etc.).

Participants must verify that all submitted resources, including photos, audio, typography, and footage, belong to them. If copyrighted or third-party items exist, kindly grant explicit permission before using them. Any illegal content found in an entry will be disqualified.

Judging:

The total score will be based on a combination of judges' evaluation and online voting.

Judges' evaluation will contribute 70% of the final score.

Online voting will contribute 30% of the final score.

Any attempt to purchase votes or artificially inflate online voting results will result in 0% score in online voting session

The top 5 video with most creativity will be nominated and played during the event run

Resolution: 1080p, using 16:9 frame formats

Maximum file size :1.5 GB
Ownership
The author of the submitted work will retain ownership and copyright. However, the organizer retains the right to publish the video to the author and the organization they represent. The digital submission will remain in the organizer's hands. The author retains the right to use the work at free will after the event.
